How Fast Does A 4hp Outboard Motor Go Outboard Motor Problems!?

Outboard motor problems!? - how fast does a 4hp outboard motor go

Hello everyone, I need help, fast. I have a 4 hp Mariner outboard mid-90s my dad bought it for about 4 months ago. When I bought the CARB verified clean sheets. It worked very well, but it has been sitting around a month. I clicked on the back of the boat today to be ready to go fishing tomorrow. I tried to run, just to get ready for tomorrow. No luck! The interview that someone only made proposals on what could be the problem. All that would be useful. Thank you.

Try with full speed?

The plugs wet?

If so, dry them and try again.
+ + + Air mixture compression of fuel at the right time = blue sparks exhaust and a lot of noise.

If you do not get wet, and is really the fuel into the container, the carbohydrate that is not really clean.
Remember to give birth at the beginning of the fuel line.

A month of storage is no big deal.

As you know, is mixed with gasoline, the engine oil in a 2-stroke engine. All solvents strong enough to clean carb clean paint the right oil in the cylinder wall.

In addition, all scattered in the throat of carbohydrates, must jump through the engine without having to use the bodies a little carb cleaning

So, if you spray carb cleaner in a 2-outboard engines, you will receive no benefits, and all the inconvenience.

If you want to keep the engine running without oil, not in the carbohydrate-specific function.

Use a spray cleaner at the air intake of the carburetor. Care for more, comes with a fuel stabilizer, including some on the market, the brand "Stabil" to mind. In addition, make sure that the air vent is open in your tank or the engine is shut off after running for some time.

More information would be a good thing, but check two things
1 - Clean and check sheets
2 --- see if your spark
3 --- Get your gas
Sorry thats 3 things
